The M4/M1014 was designed to be submitted to the United States Army's Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) bid for a new semi-auto combat shotgun. The rest is history, as the Marine Corps has been using them since 1999. Rugged and reliable, you cannot make these shotguns fail. They use Benelli's first gas piston system created. The Auto-Regulating Gas-Operated (A.R.G.O.) system is a simple, self-cleaning, piston-driven action. That makes the shotgun shoot smoothly and more reliably with any ammo you feed it with. The receiver is drilled and tapped and comes with a rail already mounted to it. It also comes with a set of Ghost-Ring sights, and a fixed modified choked barrel.

The Benelli M4 Tactical features the proven ARGO gas system with dual stainless self-cleaning pistons that operate directly against the rotating bolt. This design eliminates complex linkages that foul quickly and are harder to clean. All external surfaces are protected with an anti-reflective MILSPEC finish making it extremely corrosion resistant and reliable in even the harshest environments.

Currently deployed by the U.S. Marine Corps in combat theaters around the world, the Benelli M4 Tactical sets the standard for military shotgun performance and reliability.
